Founded under the name of “Bradley Air Services” by Russel Bradley in 1946, First Air is a Canadian low-cost airline, which is engaged in operating scheduled passengers flights to several destinations across Canada.

The headquarters of the airline is based in Kanata, a vicinity of Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. It started its scheduled operation with an eight-seat passenger plane in 1973, between Ottawa and North Bay.
